10 Year Old Girls Nude Pics

In 1975, photographer Garry Gross took several nude photographs of a 10-year-old Brooke Shields that were later published in a Playboy publication called Sugar and Spice. This series of photographs has been the source for controversy for decades. But many internet users were blissfully unaware of the images until one appeared in a meme featuring a photograph of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and passed around on social media:

Washington Post: It was Mom who decided six years ago to let Gross take pictures of her nude daughter for a book, published the next year by Playboy Press, called "Sugar and Spice." Then a funny thing happened to little Brooke: she burst out of her cocoon and turned into a great big star, just like that. Suddenly the pictures acquired a new and alluring value; and suddenly Brooke and Mom decided that, with the book out of print, Gross had no business peddling the pictures anywhere else, even though Mom had signed a release for them.

20 years ago people rarely took nude pics of them selves and shared. While I can remember goofing around in my early 20s, taking it to Walmart of all places, the results were 2 hard copies easily controlled. And I would dare say no one under 18 was doing this.

Another involved a 16-year-old girl who said she accidentally posted a nude photo of herself on a social networking site. A 16-year-old boy at her school found the photo and distributed it to 100 people when she refused his demand to send him more nude pictures. He was charged with a felony and was put on probation.

Both adults and minors can be prosecuted under these laws. And because the law doesn't require images to be of another minor, taking or sexting sexually explicit selfies count as crimes. So a 15-year-old who convinces his 16-year-old girlfriend to send him a nude selfie could be prosecuted for possession of the image and for persuading the girlfriend to take the selfie. And, technically, the girlfriend could be charged with creating and sharing the nude selfie.

Oregon teen sexting case. In Carey-Martin, the appellate court reviewed a 25-year mandatory prison sentence handed down by a lower court in a case involving teenage sexting. The defendant had been convicted on multiple counts of using a minor in a display of sexually explicit conduct, based on his actions in convincing several younger girlfriends to send him nude selfies. His convictions were considered "major felony sex crimes" under a sentencing enhancement provision enacted by state voters. The enhancement triggered the mandatory minimum 25-year sentence. While the appellate court agreed that sexting could be harmful, it held that the ballot measure intended to reach a small group of the worst sexual offenders, not the teen sexting conduct present in this case. The court reversed the mandatory minimum sentence but that didn't reverse the underlying convictions.

The long, out-of-town hours slaving for a sports field turf business led to one New York man's insidious boredom. To pass the rote days, Brandon Cuddihe decided to tool around online and strike up conversations by reportedly friending more than 150 pre-pubescent girls on Facebook. But when he did so, the then 30-year-old pretended to be a 14-year-old girl named "Hanna Richards."

A mother one of the girls checked her daughter's cell phone and discovered that she and her friend (identified by prosecutors as "FV1" and "FV2") "sent nude pictures and videos to "Hanna Richards" in a span of two days," the plea agreement states.

On Dec. 6, 2016, the detective requested search warrants of both 10-year-olds' Facebook accounts and discovered that "Hanna Richards" [Cuddihe] was pulling the same nude selfie-sending scheme with more than 150 others, "many of whom appeared to be between 11-15-years-old," according to the plea agreement.

"Further investigation revealed another instance of accessing child porn on the internet in December of 2021. Most concerning was evidence that in June of 2022, Ekstrom began an online conversation with a 13-year old (on the East Coast, Hummel later explained) and persuaded her to send him nude pictures of herself, which she did. He then sent her nude pictures of himself."

The investigation into the South Jordan resident began in August 2018, when a 15-year-old girl reported another Snapchat user "threatened to Photoshop images of her face onto nude photos unless she sent real nude pictures of herself," court documents said. Gilbert allegedly told her he would "expose" her if she didn't follow his demands in one minute after she refused, the Tribune reported.

For example, if a 16-year-old girl sent a nude photograph to her 18-year-old boyfriend, this would not be an offense. However, if the 16-year-old girl was dating someone older than 18 and sent him a nude photograph, or if she sent the picture to someone who was not her boyfriend, it would be a crime.
